Clan Wars Strategy

So here's the scoop. In order for us to kick ass, we must truly be kick ass. I was thinking we need some strategies and roles for people. Like as an example on Junk Flea, CTF, we can't have everybody attacking there flag, because then some noob will run up and take ours. We should have designed roles on specific games. Lets say for Sand Hog the best combination of soldiers. 1 or 2 Snipers, behind the garbage can or on the bridge, 1 heavy gunner with a saw or some crazy shit like that, for covering fire, and the rest assaults. Assaults could differ between close quarters with shotguns and mid range with Ak's or G36's.

Now the teamwork bit. If we all stick in one gigantic group, we'll all get grenaded the hell out. Maybe teams of 3 or 4 assaults attacking from different sides. Snipers taking out anyone to busy with the assaults to notice them, and the SAW dude just spraying and praying a way for the shotgun guys to move in. Obviously, this requires some intense communication and we can't stop in the middle of a firefight to talk so this crap has to be said before hand. We should also familiarize ourselves with map obstacles so we don't say 'that white hill beside the tree' in Snow Valley, wheres there's tons of white hills beside trees. If you get shot somewhere by 4 guys, tell the rest of the team where you got shot and by who, so they can book it in there and do some tea bagging.

I volunteer to be either mid range assault or sniper.

I think that guarding the flag on certain maps suck. For example, two towers, it would be better just to hold them at their base/push them back instead of just guarding the flag. But it could work on open maps like junk flea I guess.

Yes, it works very well on Junk Flea... The last CTF war we did on it, was just me guarding the flag and covering others, while they ambushed their base...

Even if the person guarding the flag gets killed while everybody's raiding the other teams base...that's only half the battle. The flag carrier still has to take the flag through a war zone, and we see him so logically we'd go after the bastard. Getting the flag is easy, taking it back is the hard part.
